	MERCURY RISING 2007, Keppel   36"(L)  Standards are sunflower.  Falls are dahlia purple to port wine, lightly velvet texture with narrow 1/16" lighter edge and 1 1/2" sunburst that is darker and brighter than sunflower, faintly veined purple to tan with cadmium yellow beards. HM in 2009 and AM in 2011.
	MERCY MARCI 2009, Burseen     36"(EM)  Standards are cream yellow washed methyl violet at the edges.  Falls are mexican tan washed yellow buff toward the edges, washed brown hafts and white striations around the dark purple beards, large mexican tan flounces washed buff yellow at the edges; ruffled.
	MERRY AMIGO 2009, Blyth      38"(VE-M) This iris was introduced in 2009 by Blyth.  Standards are pure white.  Falls are red violet, well defined 1/8" white edges and bright tangerine orange beards;  heavily ruffled.
	MESCALERO CHIEF 1994, Hedgecock     40"(M) Standards are dark purple. Falls are dark purple with dark maroon hafts, dark blue to maroon edges and burnt gold beards with blue horns.

	MILAN 2007, T. Johnson     31"(L) Standards are pink blended to butter.  Falls are cream with big buff peach hafts and narrow lacy bands.  Wonderfully ruffled.
	MILES AHEAD 2010, Schreiner 37"(EM)  Standards are white.  Falls are white with mottled 1 1/4" blue edge and yellow base tipped white beards;  ruffled.

	MIMOSA 2011, Sutton     36" (ML-VL) Standards are orient pink veined orange with 1" orange edge. Falls are white veined and blushed orange with dark orange rim; beards deep tangerine; ruffled; pronounced sweet fragrance.

	MINNESOTA MIXED UP KID 2003, Worel      25"(EM) BB   Standards and falls are light cream ground with irregular purple blotches and specks.  Standards are yellow at the base extending up 1/3 and continuing up as a yellow marginal tinge.  Falls are similar with the yellow slightly more pronounced and extending halfway up with yellow beards, slightly darker throat and slight sweet fragrance.

	MIST ARISING 2008, L. Blyth  36" (ML) Standards are champagne buff to lemon cream with lavender midribs.  Falls are lavender with slightly deeper flash and heavy gold hafts; beards orange, 1 inch purple horn.
	MIST ON THE MOUNTAIN 2006, Brown      39"(E-M)  Standards are butter creme paling to near white.  Falls are white blending to wide lavender rims with gold veining at the hafts.  Ruffled and pleated with white beards tipped gold.

	MISTER THREE WIGGLE 2005, De La Motte 37" (EM) Standards are indigo violet.  Falls are dark blackish purple with veining on upper 1/3; beards orange in throat, white at end; ruffled; slight sweet fragrance.
